This information is only provided when applying for a credit report in Chinese.
Key details are as follows:

Summary table:
- •
It presents credit information divided into five categories: loan information, credit card information, credit records information, inquiry history, and other. In addition, it lists the total balance of loans (in thousands) and credit cards (in NTD). If there are items in the "See Credit Details" column of the summary table, the relevant credit information table will be listed below, and the disclosure period for such information will be stated at the end of that table.
- •
Through credit reports, financial institutions submit credit information within the disclosure period (approved by the Financial Supervisory Commission). If the debt information exceeds the disclosure period, individuals may make an additional inquiry about "unpaid debt information" (only available in Chinese), which will include three main types of information: loan and guaranteed debt, credit card bills, and debt assignment by creditor banks. Upon recognizing the debt owed to a creditor institution, please reach out to said organization to verify the precise amount of debt. The "unpaid debt information" for which an additional inquiry has been made will be bound together with the credit report and placed at the end of the credit report.
III. Content of the credit report
- (I)
Loan information: Including loan balance details, joint debt/subordinated debt/other debt information/guaranteed debt obligation from which the principal debtor has been released, and overdue loans or bad debt records.
- •Table B1 Loan Balance Details
- 1.
It provides information on all outstanding normal or overdue/bad debts within the disclosure period as the time of printing. The amounts are expressed in "thousands of NTD." When reading the information, please add three zeros to the amounts.
- 2.
It integrates data from the latest monthly report of the first bracket and from the supplementary monthly report to provide real-time daily report data of the second bracket (from the 1st of the following month of the latest monthly report to the time and date (year/month) of printing), and lists the total balance of all outstanding loans.
- 3.
If there is a delay record in the loan information within the last 12 months, it will be listed in "latest delay record date (year/month) and status."
- •Table B2 Joint Debt/Subordinated Debt/Other Debt Information/Guaranteed Debt Obligation from which the Principal Debtor Has Been Released
- 1.
The "joint debt/subordinated debt/other debt information" provides information on the latest guaranteed debt of the outstanding principal debt within the disclosure period.
- 2.
Guaranteed debt obligation from which the principal debtor has been released (only personal credit reports contain this information) means that the principal debtor of the guaranteed debt has been released from his/her obligation in accordance with the Consumer Debt Clearance Statute. However, such guaranteed debt still exists, and it will be displayed in the latest guaranteed debt information within the disclosure period. This information will not be displayed again in the "joint debt/subordinated debt/other debt information."
- •Table B3 Overdue Loans or Bad Debt Records
- 1.
It provides information of overdue loans for the last three years or bad debt records for the last five years as of the time of printing. If a loan has been paid off, the "closed case date" will be disclosed for each debt record. This means that you have no debt relationship with such financial institution.
- 2.
Disclosing overdue loans and bad debt records is meant to assist banks in restraining an individual's debts from escalating. When such overdue loan or bad debt record period expires, the information will be automatically canceled.
- (II) Credit card information: It includes the records of the credit card holder and account information.
- •Table K1 Credit Card Holder Records: It provides the primary and supplementary card information within the disclosure period of an individual.
- •Table K2 Credit Card Account Information

In principle, each card issuing institution shall submit the information to the JCIC within five business days after the settlement date.
- 3.
The "total balance of the credit card account" refers to the latest information for the most recent period as of the statement settlement date of each card issuing institution (excluding those with settlement information in the "settled debt" column). The sum of the amounts in the fields "payments due for this period (NTD)" and "pending payments that are yet to fall due (NTD)" is the total amount owed as of the settlement date. The above-mentioned "pending payments that are yet to fall due (NTD)" include "payment installments," "billing installments" and "cash advance installments" (repayment of cash advances within the credit card limit).
- 4.
The debt status is the amount of bad debts, and it usually does not include other amounts such as interest derived from charging off bad debts. If you have doubts regarding the loan amount, please contact the original creditor bank.
- (III)
Credit records information: It includes information both on large-amount returned checks of more than NT$500,000 and blacklisting status at the Taiwan Clearing House (TWNCH). The records of large-amount returned checks of more than NT$500,000 and blacklisting status established by the JCIC are transferred from the TWNCH. However, the TWNCH only provides records of returned checks due to insufficient deposit balance and blacklisting status for transactions of more than NT$500,000 to the JCIC for filing. The TWNCH does not provide information on returned checks due to other reasons or early termination of blacklisting status. In light of the incomplete credit records present in the JCIC, please contact the TWNCH if you wish to check the complete credit information.

If all returned checks that led to blacklisting and all returned checks thereafter have been fully annulled, earmarked, or paid upon representation, once the blacklisting status is canceled in advance by the TWNCH, the individual may submit the inquiry form of the TWNCH to the JCIC and apply for the Center to add the relevant blacklisting cancellation information.

- (2)For applications received and verified at a post office and applications by mail, the inquiry date is based on the processing date when the application is received by the JCIC, not the application date on the application form.

IV.
Credit score:
The JCIC calculates your "credit score" based on your credit report as well as the loan, credit card, credit record, and inquiry history information of financial institutions. Credit scores are calculated based on five factors, namely payment behavior, debt degree, debt type, credit history length, and number of new loan applications, and are used to predict the likelihood of you meeting future repayment obligations.
The percentile position chart allows individuals to understand the relative position of their own credit score compared to the overall score sample (including all those whose credit scores are assessed and those with bad records). Those who require credit scores must make an "additional inquiry" application.
V.
Reporting record information:
This is a value-added service that is actively provided. When an individual applies in writing for a credit report in Chinese, if he/she is notified by any unit, including the Criminal Investigation Bureau, National Police Agency, Ministry of the Interior; financial institutions; or electronic payment institutions of a watch-listed account or reporting case of fraud within the disclosure period, such item will be listed in "Table Z5 Reported Case Records." If you have any doubts regarding the reporting records, please contact the reporting unit for more information.
