To offer credit inquiry and consulting services concerning data subjects, process applications for revising or correcting credit records and notations, deal with fraud reports among financial institutions and ID card data checks, process inquiries from  relevant authorities concerning credit data according to the law, and promote awareness about credit usage, and maintain the JCIC website.

To collect, check, store, and maintain the financial and credit-related data of enterprises and individuals, to develop, organize, and promote credit information products, to deal with the application, issuance, and management of member inquiry cards, to compile and publish the statistics and industrial ratios of enterprises, to conduct industry financial analysis, and to process members’ inquiries about clients without self-use residences.

To direct overall planning and implementation; manage international affairs; set rules on inquiry fees; provide credit-related statistics; initiate internal-control procedures; conduct research on financial subjects,  industries and special projects; publish reports and other materials; develop, maintain, and monitor credit score models; plan and promote credit score and risk control products; assist the competent authorities with financial risk management; and plan other credit-related systems.

To deal with membership applications, training, inquiry security, inquiry fees, rewards, violation cases, and related assistance, to build up and maintain the database of member inquiries, and to publish the “List of Financial Institutions”.

To develop and maintain applied information systems, maintain computer software and hardware, manage the database and internet operations, test and operate information software systems.

To plan and implement information security operations; maintain the information security management system; manage the user accounts and security clearances for using the credit information database; execute operation modifications, data inputting /outputting, and application programs testing; and manufacture member inquiry cards.

To deal with document and file management, financial management, property management, general affairs, personnel employment and dismissal, salaries, attendance records, performance reviews, employee training and welfare, and the operation of the library.

To deal with the budget, the final settlement, and the accounts.

To compile and review business related laws and regulations, to study and explain laws and regulations, to deal with contingent cases and lawsuits, to review contracts, to draw up membership protocols, to plan , manage, supervise, and implement legal compliance procedures.
